A launch through Sponsor is one transaction. It creates the coin through the Pons factory, points the coin’s creator fee share at the profile you picked, and sends you your dev buy.

A real Pons coin

Sponsor uses the same Pons factory as any other Pons launch. You get a real token and a real trading pool on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), tradeable immediately and visible on pons.family.

The fee routing

On a plain Pons launch, the creator fee share goes to the launcher. Through Sponsor, it goes to the X profile picked at launch instead. The routing is part of the launch transaction itself and is keyed to the profile’s numeric id, so it keeps working through handle renames. The profile owner does not need to sign up first. Fees accumulate under their profile and wait, with no deadline, until they claim. The direction is set once per coin, at launch.

Costs

Dev buy tokens go straight to your wallet inside the launch transaction. Sponsor’s 20% platform fee is taken from collected fees later, not at launch, and each coin’s rate is fixed when it launches.

After launch

The coin’s page on sponsor.gl shows Lifetime fees, Platform fee, Coin collected, and Harvests from the moment of launch. The profile’s page lists every coin directing fees to it and its Claimable now balance.
