### What is Sponsor?

Sponsor launches real [Pons](https://pons.family) coins on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) and directs each coin's creator fee share to an X profile chosen at launch. The profile owner claims the accumulated fees whenever they like. See [Introduction](/introduction).

### Someone directed fees to my X account. What now?

A coin was launched with its fees directed to your profile, and your share has been accumulating onchain. Sign in with your X account at [sponsor.gl/claim](https://sponsor.gl/claim), connect a wallet, and claim it. See [Claim your fees](/claim/claim-your-fees).

### Do I need to sign up before fees start accumulating?

No. Fees build up under your profile automatically and wait for you. Signing in only matters when you want to claim.

### What if I change my X handle?

Nothing changes. Fees follow your account's permanent numeric id, not your @handle.

### What does launching cost?

**0.0005 ETH** (the Pons factory's fee), plus any optional dev buy, plus gas. See [Fees & parameters](/reference/fees-and-parameters).

### Can I direct fees to someone who has never used Sponsor?

Yes. Any X profile works, including one that has never signed up. Their fees accumulate and wait until they claim.

### Which wallet receives my payout?

Whichever wallet you connect at claim time. The payout arrives as WETH (wrapped ETH), which you can unwrap to ETH anytime. See [Claim your fees](/claim/claim-your-fees).

### Do I pay anything to claim?

Gas only. The platform fee (**20%** of collected fees) is accounted for before fees reach your balance, so what you see as claimable is what you receive. See [Fees & parameters](/reference/fees-and-parameters).

### Why does my profile show two different numbers?

The estimates are derived from historical activity; **Claimable now** is read live from the chain. Trust Claimable now.
